| OK--I am looking at the possibility of re-launching this label. Am working w/a guy that used to be w/Arista. sharp guy. Details to follow.
As to "Lonely Vato", an official relase is still not as yet planned, but I think y'all will like it when you hear it. Has 5 vocal tunes--all original. Tomas, Neal, and Marcus were brilliant, as always. Michael Meredith wrote some cool lyrics and sang the sh*t out of them. Plus--Oteil, Kofi, and Barry guested on some tracks.

| Hey folks! Long time no post. Has anyone caught the recent Jimmy Herring Band shows? Sounds like a good time. How about ABB--how are they sounding these days? They'll be in my neck of the woods this week but I CAN'T GO! (Our baseball team is on the hunt for the state tournament and I'm up to my ears in sunflower seeds--wish us luck)

| Just had Oteil come over to the studio the other day to play some parts for Tomas' upcoming cd (yet to be titled). F***ing brilliant stuff! here will likely be a duet or two of Oteil and Tomas. The did about 15 minutes or so of improv. Really cool.
Kofi's going to play some B-3 and clavinet. The cd is reall starting to take shape, and we're all pretty enthused in its direction. Will keep you posted. |
